Earful, that card is an OEM. It may not be clocked as fast as a retail card.

You will also not get any extra's, not that there worth anything unless it comes with a really good "FULL" game.

I would suggest buying a retail boxed card. When video cards are concerned.

Good, luck also check out http://www.pricewatch.com for other prices and sorry pricewatch is only us. but I believe there is a European version but do not have the address.

My card (Geforce 2 mx/400) keeps gettin slower and slower and slower and slower. I got a fan for it and it helped it alot for about 3 weeks then went back down again to about 20 fps. Used to stay at about 100. I think i should format C and go again, u guys think?

When in dough format Onor, Especially if you install a lot of shareware software.

You may first try and run
lavasoft's adaware , You can find it via google.

So does an OEM part use B grade components then? I always thought OEM meant no retail fluff like games, etc.

In some cases yes, they do use grade B components. Most of the time they just use a slower speed ram

From what I have read, all Gforce4 boards are practically the same. They do not very that much form Nvidia's reference boards.

Just pick the cheaper one with the software you can use or like

i've seen better deals at best buy, on a few of the items, others looked fairly priced, but a hardware site is a hardware site.
