Wookie is in fact going to be the next moderator as soon as the amount of registered users hit 1500 (1206 now, I kill a lot of 0 post accts every week, ~10 register per day and don't ask me where they all go). I wasn't going to announce it until then, but since someone brought it up...

Polaris is a good moderator, I know for a fact that although he doesn't post too much he monitors the board like a good mod would.

I wouldn't mind being a moderator, but the simple fact I have little tolerance for incompetence, spend little time monitoring the boards and don't get surprised / offended / pissed off at controversial / marginal posts make me just another poster.

I wouldn't be loved by many, so I'd rather stay one of the "wise men" and post when I feel it is right to do so and enjoy myself without having to worry about the *cough cough* "tremendous" responsibilities that come with the title of "strategic forecaster".
