A lot of you guys are being very immature

You guys that are spaming are hurting this forum and the people who got where they are honistly.

You guys that are accusing the spammers and threatening them are no better, you are just bringing about quarells that hurt the forum even further.

I agree that if you are warned about spaming and continue, then you should be punished. But we don't need to get into fights about anything, just be mature and kindly inform a possible perpitrator of your views, but don't go as far as some have and swear and intentionally put down the other party.

This fighting only causes people to create stupid threads based on vendetas, like the previous, trivial, war between Ludacris, and HAL5000 (sorry to mention names). And forces others like myself to point out how pointless it is. And this only clutters up the forums in general.

Agree to dissagree, and be cool about it whaen you voice displeasure to another member of our community on this forum. It will benefit everyone.

In other words: 'Don't Worry, Be Happy'

Actually you haven't missed a thing... just tons of crap, worthless posts and topics. Let's hope it gets better from now on.

That is what I hope will come out of this thread, we need to cut down on trivial threads and pointless arguments.

hey I don't think it is that bad, unless it becomes a huge annoyance for everyone. But I am not saying that I oppose or support it, I am just saying that the guys that are fighting about it should just forget it.

The questions then, is the following :

how much of MOH or MOH-RELATED can we discuss before running out of substance ?

And then, when will it be appropriate to discuss another topic altogether ?

After some pondering, I feel that discussing whatever subject you want is fine, as long as you keep it humane and purposeful in a certain sense..

Useless spamming is sort of funny though

I like the idea of writing gibberish to raise my rank. After all, isn't that what I am doing right now ?

I have no problem, and I think that others will agree with me, with off topic subjects, as long as they are not meant to flame some other member of this forum. I, and hopefully everyone else, don't want this forum to turn into some BS chat about who hates who, and so I am trying to moderate to the best of my abilities, as I am not in fact a designated moderator.

SoLiDUS has a point there. They had this same problem over the Max Payne forum. The dev team was giving away very little information and they had also troubles with pointless topics and spam.

I dont mind if people start off-topic threads, as long as MoH is the main thing here.

But when one person has 15 posts in 20 post thread and then goes WHOOOAA! I've got 500 posts in two days or something. That's what pisses me of. But like I said earlier, I hope we get rid of that kind of posts in the near future.

like I said before, I don't mind the of topic stuff, as long as it isn't just for the sake of spam, and it isn't to start off some stupid argument.

I am sorry if I keep repeating myself, but I am not sure if I am getting my point across.

I think you misunderstand what the people against SPAMMING are saying. Joking around and having fun is fine. SPAMMING the board and talking to yourself to get your post count up is NOT.
