BMF v K1 on BMF server 23rd September 2002

MAP: HUNT
K1 AXIS v BMF ALLIES
SCORE 5 v 2

After the initial clubbing match K1 opted to go as Axis to ease themselves
into the game. Unfortunately it wasn't to be and some excellant nade work
from BMF all too easily took out our snipers in the hotel. This left it
easier for BMF to come down right flank and, after some tense gunfights, K1
were left with very few men downtown to guard the objective. Some excellant
play by the rear guard stopped heavier losses for the K1 clan.

Commendations : Brawne, Kaiser, (for staving off a worse defeat).


K1 ALLIES v BMF AXIS

SCORE 0 v 7

BMF were well organised with 2-3 snipers in the hotel backed up by MG fire
and good accurate nades left nowhere for K1 to go. On 2 occasions K1
breeched the perimeter but by then they were heavily outnumbered and
couldn't get to the objective despite some brave tactical displays.

Commendations: Tals who did manage to pick off a few good shots in each
round.

MAP:BRIDGE
K1 ALLIES v BMF AXIS
SCORE 7 v 0

After a 10 minute interval where K1 did some tactical reorganisation the K1
team came out with a different attitude. The break definitely helping regain
composure K1 simply ruled this Map as allies. Sniper work on the bridge was
outstanding and the work done on the hotel and securing no entry through the
cellar gave BMF no option but to rush the map with the clock ticking down to
0. A few mistakes made by K1 squad allowed 2 rounds to go to the wire but K1
held on for an inspired 7-0 win.

Commendations : Overlord who was simply outstanding at hotel entrance and
Chadster and Mac for their sterling work on Bridge.



K1 AXIS v BMF ALLIES
Score 4 3
This was to me K1's finest hour todate. After a close 1st round which we
narrowly lost we came out fighting and after a tense 1v1 battle we won the
2nd round. Meaning we were only 1 game behind.

This being our choice of map we were naturally well practiced and decided on
the tactic of rushing the bridge backed up with some sniper fire and
riverwork our forward forces managed to sweep across the bridge several
times thus winning 3 rounds in a row and winning the game for K1. The score
at 4-1 the game eased off slightly and some more adventurous methods were
used by our players. This gave the final 2 games to BMf who by then had
sealed off the bridge.

Commendations : Thunder and Rooster. Their teamwork surely won us the map
and match. Also the rest of K1 squad who turned in an all time best after a
difficult start.

FINAL SCORE K1 16 v 12 BMF

All in all a great game both sides knowlegde of there choice in maps
creating a tense game which could easily have went in favour of either side.
BMF were a good honest clan to play against. Cheers lads. Until the next
