Depends.

Non-Dedicated? Sure. If you have cable, you can host about 6 - 8 people without too bad lag.

Dedicated? Ehhh. . . I'd get a server for this. You can try though.

yes you can run a server with your pc for free. i run a server for 10 players .the trick there is i run auto kick with it set to kick pings over 150. i know thats low but only fast computers with a fast connection can hang in the game. so i end up with a 10 player game with little or no lag at all. and its full every night. and all my maps are modded and i run ultra mod on top of that. so yes ...it can be done .. my server runs every evining . stop by and check it out sometime. BUTCHES ULTRAMOD/NO DIALUPS ...its on the gamespy list...hope that helped a little....BUTCHER
