That's right. Not that there's such thing as a Spearhead suggestion box. Or if there was, that they would actually read it.

But I'm sure half the idiots on this forums can understand why the other half would like the ability to ignore there voice taunts and chat text in-game.

Well.. Lets all try to repeatedly login to the EA [url=http://techchat.ea.com:4080/chat/world/html/index1.html:c9996]Tech Chat[/url:c9996] site until it stops saying Closed.

And everyone find a place to request an ignore chat/taunts from this user option for the first Spearhead patch due to arrive April 2004 for only $39.99

suggestions@ea.com Subject: MOH:Spearhead

1) Ignore This User function for Chat and Voice Commands/Taunts
2) Autokick if PK3 files aren't boxed versions
3) Ability to select PK3 files allowed on the server
4) Easy to use kick/ban functions with voting for dummies
5) removal of the Force Models cheat
6) Report Users IP to his Service Provider. with list of infractions (maybe?)
7) Add more here

Isn't that like.. illegal? Last I looked, cheating in online games wasn't part of my Terms of Service agreement. And if you're going to say "hacking" then you're wrong there.. I don't think there's any "hacking" of servers going on. Maybe spawn lod commands, but that's not hacking, or denial of service attacking.. so I do think reporting these things to people's ISP's would classify as harassment.

I myself am not a cheater, but I am standing up for their rights as well as playing devil's advocate.. which I tend to enjoy.

As far as #6,

The consensus in the Provider community is that the client is the one paying us. We are always on their side. The gaming server is not sending us $40 dollars a month so you always come last.

Cheating is not a violation of any agreement with any ISP I know of. Technically speaking it could be considered disrupting the service of an online entity, but even in that it would be a minor offense and no ISP is going to even go as far as to warn the user.

Some people using these forums need to realize cheating may be a horrendous crime to you; but to the 'adult world' it's a non-issue. We do NOT care if people cheat using our service, they are paying customers and 'The cusomter is always right'.
