PC vs Console -
11-27-2002, 11:13 AM
I was just wondering if there is a platform for PC gamers to compete against
consonsole gamers online?
I have a few co-workers that tout how great their Xbox, Gamecube..etc is and how much control they have, how great the can play, yadda-yadda-yadda........ kinda pisses me off that i cant give-em a good thrashing...
Any comments?
Mung.

You want to play a Playstation2/Xbox against a PC?
Umm. . cannot be done.
What you can do is pickup a proggie called Bleem! for PS1. This allows you to play PS1 games on your PC. That's about the closest you can do to what you ask. Is this what you mean?

kinda-sorta...... I don't play console games, i'm PC all the way, but i just wondered if there was a way or interface for those players to have a head-to-head.
I think it would be neet to compete on some sort of ladder or clan compitition between PC and console gamers.

It might be a good idea for some developer(s) to consider cross compatible games.
Since EA makes MOH for both platforms, it would be a nice from a marketing standpoint .

I just can't see how one can possibly aim in a game like MOH using a console controller.
I'll stick to PC gaming, thanks.

Sadly, people HAVE found ways to cheat with some consoles, mainly the X-Box, but they have to do more work to get the cheats running.
