Default Need help with an odd sound problem - 05-12-2003, 10:53 AM

You know how each of the stock skins has its own voice? Well I lost one. I know longer have the American voice that sounds sort of tough, with a slight Brooklyn or Philly accent to it.

I thought that was the Allied Airborne. But all get are the voices that sound like that young. All-American jock voice. Or the one with the sissy "try again" voice.

Now I have some custom skins loaded, that I got on here. I DO get that tough Broolynese voice, but only when I am using a skin that is the British Airbourne Major skin.

But not with any of the stock skins.

So many CKR servers do not allow custom skins anymore so I can't use my British Major skin.

Any idea how I can alter this and get my favorite voice back??

Any chance that it is just a glitch, and when I play on line other people really do hear the touch guy voice, even though I only hear the Greg Brady voice??

thanks

My guess is one of two ways:

1) Alter the custom skin to use a different voice, that way it dosen't overwrite the origional skins sounds.

2) Get rid of the custom skin.
