Let me clear some things up. These are the registered parties. They are not all represented in all ridings.
The 5 major parties are:
Liberal
Conservative
Bloc
NDP
Green
All of those with the exception of the Bloc have ridings in every district in Canada. The bloc only have ridings in Quebec because their a Quebec party and wouldn't get any votes anywhere else.
Heres how the numbers might break down: (from a CBC poll but i've seen many variants)
If the federal election were held today, which of the following parties would you vote for?
The Conservative Party 33%
The Liberal Party 27%
The New Democratic Party 24%
The Bloc Quebecois 11%
The Green Party 2%
Other party 2%
Really, the only two parties that "matter" are the liberals and conservatives, however at this time, neither party is strong enough to take a majority, thus when an election is called there will be another minority government. It just depends who will be in power.
Also, all the parties mentioned above do not have ridings in all areas. For example the Canadian Action party may only be on the ballot in 5 ridings because they only have members in those 5 ridings, or only enough resources to get those 5 members.
Basically all you see on the ballot is the 5 main parties.
