I have about 250 bucks to spend on a tablet. I've been looking at getting a wacom graphire but am wondering if theres anything I would be missing out on if I dont spend more than a 100 bucks.
I have a wacom and love it. I don't recommend one though if you can't draw on pen and paper. Also you must have a lot of patients to even remotely get close to the skill that you have with pen and paper. The surface of a wacom is very smooth so you dont get the friction as you do with paper. You must have a lot of patience to get used the right amount of pressure to use. All I can say is get good at drawing with a mouse before you ever touch a wacom. If you can't get remote success with a mouse, then there is no hope for the wacom.
