I'm taking my Basic Network Security Final exam, and i dont know if i was asleep for this fucking chapter or what, Maybe its just a question that we put what we THINK we might do but here it is.
Security Incidents are inevitable. First responders are those that are the first to arrive and address the alleged incident. Describe the actions that a first responder would take under the following 5 situations (i'm only giving one for now):
a. An employee is engaged online in downloading unauthorized (by organizational policy) information from the Internet. You are the System Admin.

Not a bad answer. This is what i put.
"If an employee is engaged online in downloading unauthorized information, and I am the system admin, the first thing I would do is to drop his connection to the internet, stopping him from accessing the internet, and stopping the download. Than I would block the site or application. I would than immediately check the files he has downloaded, and run system scans on the network, and the computer to see if anything has been triggered, or if anything looks suspicious. For all I know the employee didn’t realize he was breaking policy, but no matter what you take no chances, you check everything for functionality to make sure everything is up and running still. Importantly, maintain proof, so the employee can be dealt with."

Choice #2 Pistol whip him until he bleeds on the office floor.
Choice#3 offer to let him off the hook for buttsecks
choice #4 Call for backup .Flash your internet security badge. Neutralize him with non lethal force and call his mom to come pick him up.
