So im getting a new HD, and i want to keep the shit thats currently on my HD, is there a program i need that will allow me to copy everything on the old drive and put it on the new drive. I really don't want to lose the crap on it, because its all my music and photos.

well i dont know if this will help or not. but when i bought a new pc i hooked up my old pc to my roomates monitor when he was at class and transfered all of the crap i wanted to keep over aim. since it was over the school lan the files transfered uber fast.

so, if you have another pc at your house just hook your old hd up to that monitor and buy some sort of data transfer cord (i know they exist ,i dont know what they're called) hook them up and transfer it over aim or whatever.

you could also manually remove your old hd and put it into your new pc as the slave drive.
