The wife and I are heading out to New York for a couple of Ween[/url:82634] concerts, we're driving, leaving tonight and back wed or thur. I should be able to get the next DMz Dogtag beta out next weekend, so many new features have been added that the code is a bit messy and needs work.

I'm back, had a total blast of course, I'll definately be visiting NY again. Yeah Judas, they've been around for a long time, and as weird as ever. The benefit concerts raised alot of money to help Claude out, and the bands we're selling their own CD's and putting all the money into the basket as well as playing for free.
If you didn't see my earlier msg about this, Claude is their drummer who got shoved into oncoming highway traffic by an accident happening behind him. He's got a crushed pelvis (titanium now) and brain damage effecting his eyesight and feeling on one side of the body; however he's fighting back and is already walking for short periods, months ahead of time!
Besides Ween of course, Instant Death, Sound of Urchin, and Chris Hartford and the Band of Changes played kick ass sets, and we ended up getting CDs from the first two.
Sorry Joe, didn't have time to get on the Internet, even tho the Gershwin (excellent & cheap) has a pay kiosk terminal. Besides the shows we hit the Empire State, Central Park, Chinatown, MidTown & Times Square (including the huge Toys R Us). Took the subway and walked everywhere, and our RedMap of NY[/url:ac762] was worth it's weight in gold.

Sorry, me and my friends used to point them out, and show them to the "right way" to go, heh. Much like the pool on the 3rd floor in High School!

hehe Joe, I can see that happening, altho we never got lost once we got ours. Hardest part was re-orientating after we got out of the subway.
Not sure if they were on that sound track Hollywood, but they've been on quite a few including the Road Trip, South Park Chef Aid, and X-Files sndtracks, plus all the music for the TV Show "Grounded for Life".
