Actually, I have a question about graphics cards. I am running with an AMD 1.5 gig, 256 MB PC2100, Geforce 2 on windows XP. I am going to buy another 256 MB of memory, but also want to update my graphics card. I don't want to spend an arm and a leg, but would like something with a bit more bite. Any recommendations?

Thanks for the ideas guys. I was thinking a GF 4, but wasn't sure which one. Do you think I will see a real difference in the upgrade? I would hate to shell out a lot and not see some results.
Never EVER EVER EVER fucking go with an MX... I will KILL YOU if you do so:
instead, go for a regular GF3 or GF4 man. ATi's are okay but the drivers are
always SUX0R4G3...
Go for the 4200 or the 4600. Anything else will be SUPER FUCKING OBSOLETE AND POINTLESS. GeForce3 is on it's way out to pasture, and you can get the GeForce4 for a very reasonable price. As SOLIDUS said, MX is shit, and I wish I knew that before I shelled out my hard earned cash for it a year ago, but oh well it worked. Anywho, get the 4200 or 4600, you can get them as low as 212 off of pricewatch for a 4600, and 175 for a 4200.
You WILL see a graphically improvement. Definately. Especially if you're playing games like MOH and BATTLEFIELD. The damn things are fast and big.
Only thins is, make sure you do a BIOS FLASH or you may run into some problems with the GeForce/MB/and XP.
It's not something you enable; rather, it's something you DO.
Flashing the BIOS (basic input-output system) means getting special
software from your card's maker, erasing the EEPROM and replacing it
with another, more compatible one.
At least, that's what I remember the process to be biggrin:

Thanks for all the advice gents. I am gonna shoot for the 4200, sounds like good stuff. It was Bf1942 that showed me how weak my system is now. I am looking forward to playing it without a lot of fps issues.
