Check both companies out with the better business bureau Unless someone here has dealt with them personally.

You should be able to chose which is better by the components, it's just the service you get after your receive your computer that matters. If you receive your computer.

have you tried BestBuy- they have alienware now

new puters to play MOH on...

Whats wrong with the computer you got now? The specs are past better than average for MOHAA or SpearHead.

Maybe a Memory upgrade from pc400 to pc2100 could help being you max out at 200MHz on your ram. Thats if your computer can take the upgrade.

One more thing -atticus-

PLEASE CALM DOWN

You always seem to want to start a flame war. I have too many other things to worry about here and other places.

The best PC to play a game on is one you build yourself, that way you know the specs and hardware. Though, in terms of cost effectiveness, it is sometimes cheaper to buy a prebuilt system. If you're not ready to take on that endeavor, I would suggest some of the previously mentioned companies, especially ALIENWARE(http://www.alienware.com), expensive but top components and a great warranty. Falcon Northwest(http://www.falcon-nw.com)is another one.

PC Gamer and Maximum PC magazines just had special issues on building your own gaming system. You can consult those for component specifications and recommendations. Also, consult a site called Extreme Tech(http://www.extremetech.com). They always have good reviews on systems, and their ratings are considered to be very reliable. I'm building a new PC primarily to get ready for STAR WARS GALAXIES in 2003. OH YEAH!!!!

Dell makes good systems, but their tech support has really declined in quality, from what I understand.

Gateway. . .well, they have been known to use refurbished parts.

If you can afford Alienware, go with them.

If you really want to get technicial, I build PC's. If you were willing, I could make one for you.

If you're not able to build one yourself, go with Alienware. It's worth the extra few bucks. I built a custom system through them and it's been rock solid for everything I've thrown at it. I can't reccommend them highly enough. (unless maybe they offer me some advertizing money )

Good grief. Build your own. You know what goes in it. You can build the top of the line XP system which will outperform any Puketium 4 system for way less than what Alienware gets.

I suggest building your own, or just keeping the one in your sig since its more than enough... Speaking of your sig. Mind toning it down? Its a bit long. Perhaps just the picture, though its sizable itself, or just the specs. Ask one of the guys here to make you one. Im sure you'll find a taker.
