Hey everyone, we are going to start using voice chat and was wondering what your recommendations are. We've decided it's between GameVoice and RogerWilco. What do you guys recommend?
Thanks!

Neither one.
Take a look at Teamspeak before you decide. It's simple to set up and use, the voices sound great and it's very bandwidth friendly. Best of all - FREE!

Jasper's TS Forums: [url:11498]http://mohaa.xgshosting.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=4[/url:11498]
Jasper is the resident TS guru. He has some excellent tutorials in his forum.
Keep an eye on people's sigs here and names in MOH. If it has <TS2> somewhere in it they're a TS user. Good luck and hope to talk to ya soon!

I have been using TS since 1.5 and now Im on 2.0, I like it for the most part, but there are a few things I don't like:
-sometimes the voices drop way off
-I have had a hard time staying on the server, I will occasionaly get kicked out of our server for no reason (This problem is less noticeable on 2.0, than 1.5, but it still has happened)
For the most part I like teamspeak, but it can be a bit buggy.
Here are a couple more of Comms, I don't know anything aboout them, but I am sure that someone out there can comment on them:
Battlecom
GameVoice
Oh ya make sure you tell people not to Voice activate thier mic, there is nothing worse than hearing some guy getting bitched out by his old lady for spending too much time on the computer......

Thank you, a friend of mine made it. I still suck at making sigs. The whole layering thing is a pain in the ass...

A little late, but Teamspeak kicks ass. I've preferred Roger Wilco for the longest time, until I've used Teamspeak. I love it.

i used to use roger wilco, but when two people talk at once on it u can't hear anything, and that happens constantly
so now i use gamevoice, but someone has to be a registered user of it if you want more than a certain # of people on at once...
teamspeak i was able to find the aa teamspeak server once and tried it a little, seemed as good as gamevoice
battlecom i haven't tried...

TS is terrible if you don't have a badass system.
1.1GHz AMD athlon
256 megs of RAM
16 Mb POS vid card
Overall a fast machine...
When playing MOHAA TS cuts out something terrible and you can't understand a word they are syaing. If you are not playing MOHAA then TS sounds great.

You have to get your settings right in TS. Once you do that it will work fine 99% of the time. If you want to use TS you'll have to take the time to go to Jaspers info on TS and learn how to set it up for your system. It's a great program and a big asset for teams while playing.
