look at the player count for Gamespy.. how many are online playing it.
im counting over 2,000 right now
and halflife is in first with about 2,4000
2000!!!!!
we are almost beating halflife... in the second day of release.... and everyone knows halflife has like 300 billion mods with a few hundred playing each....
damn.... i cant wait to see how many ppl play once it gets fully released!

the level of response and good cheers is just overwhelming... i wonder how the 2015 team feels
