Default MOHAA/SPEARHEAD HELP! URGENT! - 12-13-2002, 01:49 PM

O.K i have Microsoft Windows XP Professional, and i have a Matrox Millinenium Graphics Card.
When i play the game, in the main menu screen when i highlight an option instead of smooth graphics it is really blocky when changing the picture.
Also when playing the game things like the compass are just white and the game runs really slowly and jogs. Any ideas? Thanks. Also MOHAA worked fine on my P.C i then brought Spearhead. My P.C froze the other night and MOHAA needed to be re-installed so i done that today, with my brand new spearhead add on, and now i cant play anything cry: if it helps MOHAA done the exact same thing when i installed windows XP, and scince then it has not worked.

if u are going to do a clean install, it is wise to take everything ea, mohaa/mohsh related out of your registry as add/remove programs doesnt entirely remove everything. to get regcleaner, check out this link:

http://www.voodoofiles.com/523

be careful not to remove anything important, although w/ regcleaner it is self explanatory. reboot after removing named progs from registry and then do a clean install. hope this helps and good luck.

as for your other "blocky issues" im not to sure as i have never heard of that problem before.

With a millenium it should only have 32 MB DDR on card. Kinda low end for gaming actually.

Ok here are the Matrox Millennium G400 specs:

Memory: 32MB
Max ram/dac speed:300MHz

I have an Intel Pentium 3 with 651 MHz and 256 MB of RAM
As i said i am running XP professional and that is when the problems started. It was fine with this graphics card when i put in the Matrox an i took out my Voodoo 2. And the graphics were much better and the game run much more smoothly. As soon as i upgraded to win XP the game went all funny with the strange white bits.

Yes, I have a solution. . . get a new video card!!

Sheesh, Matrox sucks. Even their nw one, the Pharahelia sucks. Even though it has Tri-monitor support, it has the same graphics power of a GF2 MX!!!
