Any noticed that you can't enter the : character into the Multiplayer internet join text box? e.g to join a game on a port other than the standard. example 80.1.98.45:27055 (using port 27055)

I wonder if that is so you have to use Gamespy?

Anyway heres a workaround, haven't seen this one published before, so sorry if I'm repeating anything

In the console type "set ui_connectip 80.1.98.45:27055" (without the quotes) then goto the join internet game screen and the infomation will already be entered.

pull down the console and type

connect 213.221.175.98:12203

Or use ASE see sticky for fix and you won't have to type anything biggrin:

Stupid GS. I abandoned GS for ASE since like last week. I'm so much happier with ASE.
