Ok well I plan on getting the Audigy 2, and was wondering what is the best speaker setup for the 6.1 possibility...?

I was at BestBuy today and saw a Logitech 6.1 speaker system. It sounded incredible. The highs were high and the sub was boomin'. I can't remember the model but I remember the price: $600.00

ed: Yeah, that was my reaction, too.

I have the logitech 560z's. Their the bomb. The sound is better than any
stereo i've ever heard. You can pick these up between 150-200 bucks. Logitech has just came out with the 680Z's I believe. The 680's are 500 watts but twice the money. I can't even turn them up half way without knocking pictures off the wall. lol The Logitech 560's are 400 watts, the sub is 188 and their are 4 speakers that are 53. Compare these to the kliptchs that are twice the price. Here's a link with some more info: [url:3c553]http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm?page=products/productlist&crid=18&countryid=19&languageid=1[/url:3c553]

Cambridge Soundworks just dosen't make em like they used to anymore. hake:

The DDT 5500, IMO, is still the best damn speaker system. I love it.

I have a Cambridge Soundworks MicroWorks 300 and it sound great. They are usually like $299 retail, but I got one off of hifi's (Cambridge Soundworks) eBay store for like $150 refurbished. This might sound shady, but Cambridge gives a warranty and a guarantee that it sounds like a brand new system, which it does. If I turn the bass all the way up, you can feel it through the ENTIRE house, so it is a good system with a pretty good price. BUT, I have to say, if you have the money, go for a Klipsch system, they are really nice sounding and most are THX certified. Movie theatres use Klipsch speakers so they have some good quality sound.
