i dont know if i should be excited in the hopes that it is like the original or disappointed that it will have the same gameplay as spearhead.
im not going to rant about my dissatisfaction with spearhead, i can only hope that ea can repeat what 2015 did in the original.
(keep dreaming i say to myself)

moh franchise is dead, it died the moment spearhead hit the store/warez front. ea has destroyed the franchise, pack up and go home everyone.

I thought spearhead single player was top rate. Except for the near unplayble frame rate on a high end pc, and the shortness, and the price. Well.....nm.

Ah..I see. I dug it. Dont pity me for that. Sounds like I got the good end of that one. Obviously, it had its shortcomings, but it was still a worthy play. The mp really sucked, no arguement there.

sorry guys, its all about the edit button. here is the info, no kink because you have to be a member to that site. (so i smurfed a name)
eatthis: FULL MEDAL OF HONOR PC SEQUEL PLANNED
EA lets slip that plans for a full-blown sequel to the awesome Medal of Honor: Allied Assault are already in the mixer. Details inside
19:47 World War II shooter Medal of Honor: Allied Assault has been a huge success, and the upcoming expansion (now known as Spearhead) is equally likely to do as well. So in a way it comes as no surprise that Electronic Arts has already set its sights on a full-blown sequel. But we're still excited.
The sequel revelation came to our ears during a conversation with EA's Lincoln Hershberger, senior product manager for Medal of Honor and add-on Spearhead. When questioned about whether any part of the proceedings in the expansion would crossover with the original game (a bit like Opposing Force does with Half-Life), he replied, "That's what we're talking about for a sequel. There's no crossover in the expansion pack, but we are setting it up for the [important word there - Ed] sequel to the original Allied Assault.".
"If you remember, Allied Assault ended quite abruptly on the train," Hershberger continued. "So the plan is to bring these two characters together [Lt. Mike Powell from the original game and Sgt. Jack Barnes from Spearhead] - that's something that we're definitely talking about for the sequel. Then there'll be crossover, back story and that kind of thing. Because you're playing a whole new character [in Spearhead], we want to set all that up in the add-on.".
So, just to confirm that Mr. Hershberger, you're saying that you are planning to bring together these two characters in a full-blown sequel? "Yeah, that's the idea we're kicking around. With the success of the original, it's like, 'Hey, let's do a sequel', because on the PlayStation we've had three years in the European Theatre and on the PC only one year in the European Theatre. So it's like, let's keep it going in the European Theatre and come up with a sequel that's more than just an expansion pack. Plus we've added so much as far as weapons and new innovations are concerned for the expansion pack, we want to use those and keep building on them.".
What can we say? Woohoo! Medal of Honor: Allied Assault is regarded by many as the best PC first-person shooter currently around, and the news about a major sequel is, well, fantastic news indeed. And we get the funny feeling that it won't stop there either. Lincoln's comparison between the franchise on PlayStation and PC suggests that EA has extensive plans for World War II action on the beige box of tricks.
