Find the piece of gear you want (look in models/gear or something). You need to find a name resembling:

pieceofgear.skd

Then find the corresponding tik file for the gear (should be in the same folder as the skd, called pieceofgear.tik), and copy the lines in there to the skin tik file.

ok i got it newt to save you struggerling it's a diffent base model not sperate models for the gear.

path models/human/allied_resistance_Manon
skelmodel manon.skd
surface head1 shader manon_head
surface head6 shader manon_head
surface hands shader manon_hands
surface shirt shader manon_shirt
surface pants shader manon_pants
surface gear shader manon_gear

thats what you need to get it to work it allied_resistance_manon.tik

for all the other bits should you need them.

Damned good question, Newt. I looked in all the most logical spots (models/gear, etc) and it wasn't there.

Curiouser and Curiouser...

ok this is the path to the normal manon skin

path models/human/manon
skelmodel manon.skd

this is the path to the manon model with gear on

path models/human/allied_resistance_Manon
skelmodel manon.skd

when you chnage them over the gear maps on to the model fine apart from the fact the model is dead on the floor.

DUDE listen maybe its me, but ur not understanding I NEED THE MODEL FOR THE GEAR

A.K.A

should be like this

[code:e5966]
path models/need/help/gear // Set new path for head model
skelmodel manon_GEAR.skd // Set head model
surface manon shader manon_gear[/code:e5966]

BUT i can't find file path to the Skd. for the model, or the skd itself.

look i don't think you get it there are 2 manon models one with the gera added to it and one with out the gear added to it

as i showed above ther are not sperate models but part of a new base model like the airborne backpack it's integeral to the model you need to usde this new base model.

ok i did a check by loadinging it into radiant and seems the damn thing is dead the aminationas and all the othere crap that the 3rd person animation from the sp game. which means i don't think i can resurect her unless i can find a way to load a model.

Thats all going to sound rambled and crap cause it's early andi have been up all night.

so recap.

model is made to lie down therefore it very difficult to get it to stand up that makes it very dificult to get the gear.

I will investicat further after sleep
