ok i just formated my hard drive and activated it and everything but when i go to the update page it wont update (like critical updates and windows up date)

like i just formated the hard drive!

anyone know how to fix this

forget about it my date was set to 2002, thats why it wouldnt update

I can't believe that the year would effect the fact that you can't get updates. Weird.
