Good camera for making game skins? -
02-12-2003, 12:05 AM
The closest I've seen this is those Quake 3 booths they have. ..
I'm looking for a good camera for taking digital photos of someone or something, and to incorporate them into textures for skins or maps for games. I'm not looking for one of those 90-degree digital cameras (Although, that would work great! biggrin: ) But I am looking for some sort of method of putting in someones entire face into a texture. (basically, it would look like they're skin was taken off and layed out flat like a Picasso)
Any suggestions?

This one was an accident. The other one I thought was in MMS but I was still in Offtopic. If I wanted it in two topics, I'd post it twice. oOo:

Thank you for your info, guys. I think I may go with this, as there probably isn't a camera that I would want to use for this project. What do you suggest the megapixel count should be for peoples faces on skins/models?
