The Animatrix. The whole movie was based on a mix of Japanese cartoons, NOT Anime. Just regular, toons. So, now the directors are taking their original thoughts on the movie and the storyline and putting it into Anime movies. If you watch the first one, The Second Reinssance, it's actually pretty cool.
