If you're using Outlook Express, when you send an email it is processed for sending, during which it is in your outbox, think of it as leaving your flag up on your mailbox, waiting for the postman to pick it up. When it is sent, then it goes to your sent items, the postman comes for the letter and puts the flag down. If the emails are just sitting in your Outbox, they are not being sent. Send an email to yourself and see if you get it back. If not, you may want to check the settings on your email client.

He's talking about the PM's on this site.
They are supposed to go to the outbox, they will be automaticly transfered to the sentbox when the other person, the one that the PM was addressed to, logs on and reads it.
