anyone have one of these, and if so, does it work as quiet as they say it does?

What he said. My friend built his and never tested it before actually putting it to work on his system. It had 2 leaks and shorted out his mobo & CPU. My suggestion is to buy a case with one already installed: [url="http://www.xoxide.com"]http://www.xoxide.com[/url]

And yes, they are very quiet. The hum of the water pump is about 1/4 of the noise of a fishtank filter.

alot of the people i know have water cooled comps and theirs work fine. One of the people i know even has vapor cooling, his cpu temp was about -32 celsius

I agree with Joe, if you're going to go watercooled, get it preinstalled. That way you have a warranty if something goes wrong and are not out of pocket for hundreds of dollars.

I could of swore I responded to this. . . eek:

I've installed 2 systems myself for people, and they both are running fine. But for myself, I'd rather have them done preinstalled, as Jedi said, for the warantee info.
