OK. We obviously disagree on international politics, that is evident. I want to know how you would go about handling this potential crisis in the Middle East. I respect everyone's opinion and I truly want to know what your solution would be if you were a head of state.

Just intelligent responses, please. This means no flaming, no asinine remarks, no country bashing(Americans, Canadians, anyone else from any other sovereign nation or principality). Let's put personal biases and stereotypes aside and give well though out answers. Thanks you for your cooperation. biggrin:

I'd pretty much try the same way, but I'd be more paitent with the UN; I would order inspectors to come into Iraq, and have them have FULL access to all facilities. Then if they found weapons of NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) order, to have them destroyed.

If they didn't comply, propose an order with the UN to have them destroyed within a given timelimit.

Focus more on the countries with radical Islam before Iraq, Saddam may be eil but he likes power more than martyrdom, he knows attacking the US would turn Iraq into a nice nuclear-polished glass surface.

As long as he can be an evil oppressive asshole he's happy, not so with the radical islamic nuts.

althought it's WAY to late to implement this plan now, my plan went something like this:

EASE UP ON IRAQ, that's right, make Saddam think we're no longer on his case, ease up the embargo, etc.
this will relax the Iraqi's guard and allow our agents to penetrate Iraq, the spies would then surely find concrete evidence of WMDs and links to terrorists.
then we could attack Iraq with proper backing from our allies.

iraq is not a direct threat-he does not have a delivery system to get America. Bush is worried about him taking over other mid-east countries-then we wouldnt have oil. Have you ever listened to his speeches? he says one reason he is doing this is to protect other is Arabic countires. That should tell you that he thinks Saddam will attack other mid-east nations
