My mates and i were talking aay and we got onto the topic of the french, and we genuinly could not think of a single good thing that is french or come from france that the world has a use for.
i mean real things.....not cheap jokes about the french......as fun as that is....... biggrin:

French Fries..which me and friends have started to name "Freedom Fries"

But seriously they were the first ones in the world to have a flying balloons. Even though the guy who invented it flew away from Paris during the 1st war with Germany (I can't think of the name)

The French cannot even claim that. It was the Belgians that popularized the thinly cut fried potatoes as a food.

The whole lot of you need history lessons.

Wine was popularized en masse by Germanic tribes who used it to avoid contaminated water. This was a practice replicated throughout the Middle Ages as well.

The French have brought about some good things, and done good things for us in the past.

The problem is, they owe us a very, very large debt. A debt scribed in the blood of our soldiers. I for one will never forget this. God be with France when they are attacked.
