Well, I decided...since im a new mod here, id get you guys involved. I am going to do a skin of the month, most likely in the same manner as this, where you (the people off aa.com) can help make a skin. Heres how we do it...

1. Tell me what to add/remove/change
2. I change it
3. Ask you guys for finalization
4. Release the skin and .PSD files so you can see how I made it

If you guys think this is cool, tell me how ya feel about it! biggrin:

Leg wound looks fake

----

see if you can untuck that shirt, not all rangers and infantrymen had them tucked in.

----

add that strap across the front of the helmet like all of them had... i cant see if its there or not... and lose the dirt please or tone it down... there are so many war torn soldiers and not enough accurate rangers or soldiers. I HAVE A VISION!

1. what leg wound, i put a wrap with some blood and dirt
2. i cannot untuck the shirt because thats the way the model is
3. there is a strap there, you can see the buckle above his right eye
4. that is accurate actually, with the dirt...i dont think they had laundromats wherever they might be
5. stop posting so many damn threads in a row, as you can see i just had to edit 3 posts to one

I think the cloths are great with the dirt but who lets there face get that dirty? I also think a patch on one of his arms would look cool.

You asked for suggestions, I gave them, dont give me the attitude 12 year old sister does. I dont know anything about skinning so I have no idea what can or cant be changed, Im just saying what would look good. And the mud isnt realistic because there wouldnt just be big blotches of it, it looks like he got in a mud fight and the other areas are still spotless. I didnt mean to post like that, the ideas came to me at different times and no one posted between them. And leg wound or not, it doesnt look good... blood isnt bright red, especially if its on a bandage for a while.

tone down blood, maybe a cross around his neck, and a mark on his helmet determining rank, like in saving private ryan with tom hanks helmet, and a bullet belt hung over the shoulders, like savior said eariler. nice idea guarnere
