What is a system management bus? I just reformated my PC and I got this
PCI System Management bus in ym device manager, Know where I can dl a driver for it?

sheesh. you may want to try your mobo's chipset. for example, mine uses the VIA chipset, and I just recently dl'd the new 4 in 1 drivers. A lot of things were included, including Bus controllers.

I'm going to assume here that you bought your comp 'off the shelf'. As in, it was manufactured by a big name PC provider, eg: Dell, HP, Gateway, etc. If so, track down your comp's model name/number in the documentation that came with it. Then just go to your PC maker's site. Most will give a 'spec list', which will include the chipset at the very least.

Also, you can find most of this information if you run DXDiag, but you'll have to wait until you get your comp up and running to do so.

Now that I think about it, are you doing a cold reformat and OS install?
