You mean horizontal tearing? I only know of vertical tearing. You can preclude this by enabling Vsync in your display properties. If that option isn't there, you can try enabling it with a utility such as Rivatuner[/url:ab391], a very handy tool for tuning your graphics card drivers and optimizing performance and or image quality.

Maybe you should try re-installing (i.e. uninstall->reinstall) your graphics card drivers? My guess is you already tried this, but I know there's a program available on the net somewhere that completely removes the drivers from the system, which is more thorough than using the add/remove programs dialog...

There are many things to cause that effect.
1. Your refresh rate can be set to high or too low according to your monitor.
2. Custom desktop wallpapers
3. Custom desktop themes.

Try using default desktop settings.
Use your recommended monitors refresh rate settings.

The utility is called Detonator Destroyer, and you can download it here[/url:634c0].

I have never tested it, since my computer runs fine. I hope it doesn't mess up your machine.

More info here[/url:634c0]; the utility is also available at this location, but I believe this version is only suitable for Windows 9x/ME.

Hmm, it seems the above url links to some kind of fake file from Guru3D (the link below). So you can use the second link right away. I guess it is also suitable for Windows 2000/XP then...(?)

it could be that your grafics card gust cant handle the frame rate and so to keep up with the frame rate it cuts corners

1) Try the newest drivers from http://www.nvidia.com. Make sure you are using the 41.09 drivers, no less no more, as the 42.XX are still BETA.

2) Run configure.exe in the MOH folder.

3) Try removing any custom Maps mods/skins etc from your main directory. (I don't suspect this is the issue though.)

4) If all else fails, reinstall:
