Default Demonic Studios Presents.... - 04-14-2003, 02:43 PM

We are pleased to announce Ear Candy Vol 1. A massive set of sounds and the best avalible. The name speaks for itself. The name wasnt theifed from Eye Candy, which thought it sounded ok. Check out. Here are the changes:

Ear Candy 1.0

Ear Candy is a conversion sound mod for Medal Of Honor Allied Assault. It changes almost every sound located in the game. All sounds are farely accurate and as realistic as audio can get. Though is is Demonic Studios first release of Ear Candy, this version includes many different sounds and changes. The name Ear Candy is similar to Eye Candy, the concept is different. Ear Candy promises to bring you the best sounds on the web. Taken from tons and tons of sound mods, Ear Candy is the best of the best. Created by Double U, Ear Candy will evolve over the next few weeks with the publics submissions and added effects. We are looking for new sounds and if you think you have some of the best, email se_winters@hotmail.com

Ear Candy’s Contents

Weapon Sounds

Allied

Colt .45 - Much deeper and cleaner….. added kick, more realistic

M1 Garand – Similar to the original except with an added kick for more realism

Thompson M1A1 - Similar to the original except with an added kick for more realism

Springfield Sniper - deeper, more realism, added kick

Browning Automatic Rifle – totally changed, very realistic

Bazooka – totally changed, realistic, much deeper and cleaner

Shotgun – Allied and Axis, new to the Mohaa community, added kick, very cool

Axis

Walther P38 – much cleaner, lighter sound, very intense

Mauser Rifle – similar to BOB, very clean, very accurate

Mauser Rifle Sniper - new realistic sound, very accurate also, different from the Rifle version

MP 40 – very similar to some others, however, cleaner and more realistic

MP 44 – hard to find a decent sound, but I found one, very realistic, heavy sound, clean
Panzershreck - clean and very realistic

Explo

These Explostions bring new meaning to Explo. They are some of the best. Have been heard before but have been cleaned up.

Walking and nature sounds

All walking sounds have been changed to better suit the wussy ones of before. They are excellent and very clean. The nature sounds spruce up the ambience and add some very cool wood creaking sounds. Added effect to an excellent sound mod.

Foley

Reloads and Bashings!!! They are all high quality. A new whipping sounds makes everyone want to bash, even there Commanders. Very high quality sounds. The reloads have been changed on most of the guns. I tried to have them as accurate as possible.

Menu

The Type Key, Apply and Back keys have also been changed to complete this mod. Fubah’s enspired Multiplayer Chat Log button caught on to me. Who wants those annoying sounds. CLICK CLICK. I changed it to my own click sound which isn’t as annoying.

Characters and Mechanics

Most of the Door openings and closing have been changed. They are much more realistic. They have all been changed along with the other sounds the game uses.

New Technology

Well, I had to think of something. I have some of the best weapon ricochets and bullet hits on walls, gravel, wood and flesh. They are all very well done and HIGHLY accurate.

Demonic Studios has tried to use Mohaa’s Sound Engine to create a sound mod that fits mostly everyones game style. Highly accurate and very stable, all sounds sould be enjoyed by all.

There will be another release soon.

I just ran the mod for a test, and even though some sounds were taken from Fubah's Rage sound mod, I have to admit that this is a pretty good sound package ya got. Keep up the good work.

The sounds are great but the only thing i dont like is that the beeping o the bombs has been removed. I know its more realistic but its useful to know whether you have time to defuse it, or run and hide and try to salvage the round. Is there anyway i could personally get the beeps back on, by replacing a sound in the main folder?
