Soldiers of Tomorrow. . . -

I was reading an article in Popular Science about combat technology when they mentioned this site. Worth checking out, some very interesting ideas, even if many are still just theoretical.

Someone post a picture of the concept Future Warrior, the US Army's concept suit for soldiers past the 21st century. Not the Land Warrior, the one that looks like a black Biker Suit, with the helmet. That thing is so sick.

yeah a bit sick to look at also. i always hated skin tight clothing. basically it looks like a black power ranger, and it's said to be able to have predator camouflage, i dont know how they'll accomplish that, but i think it sounds quite foolish.

Did you read what that thing can do, though? Undectable by any means of radar, it's air-conditioned, and it has like 3 built-in weapons in the suit.

There was also a thing on Mail Call that has an Assault Rifle with a camera on it, and they can use it to see around corners. That's some pretty sci-fi shit, RPGs on your wrist...

From what I read, the face sheild actually has a Heads-Up Display (HUD) showing a GPS map, with different options, such as setting waypoints so the solder knows which way to go, rather than orenitating with a compass, and can also locate other nearby broadcast stations, such as vehicles with radio frequencys & radar dishes.
