Default Rcon problems - 06-09-2003, 07:57 PM

I am having rcon problems with my server. I have set the rconpassword in my cfg file that is called from the shortcut, just like the guides say in the guides section. Let's say the password is 123; i attach to my server and type rcon rconpassword 123, and it does nothing and just advances another line. I then type rcon status and nothing. It just advances to another line. I know I probably haven't given enough info, but I am very willing to give more input. Please help!

From what you said I think you need to specify your servers address. which needs to happen before you run any rcon commands..

call me lazy but i run a .cfg file instead of typing rcon commands

create a text file in your main (mainta for SH), like rcon.cfg. in it put:
//
rconAddress xxx.xx.xx.xxx
rconPassword 123
rcon status
unbind f1
bind f1 "exec rcon.cfg"
//

Now when you load up MOH, type in console: exec rcon.cfg

I'm sure there's a better way but this works fine for me...
