Default CD-ROM problem - 06-14-2003, 04:27 PM

Dammit!!! Ok, here's the problem. I put a cd in and it refuses to read the cd. It will just sit there. no light, no sound of moving parts, nothing. Even if I click the executable for the program I'm trying to use, it says to insert the disc. wtf is going on? do I need to break it down and get a new drive? any help would be great.

Do you ever get an ATPI Error (or something like that) at startup?

Her name is Franka Potente. She was the star of the Critically Acclaimed German film "Run Lola Run", as well as Johnny Depp's Girlfriend in blow and Matt Damon's co-star in "The Bourne Identity". If you haven't seen "Run Lola Run" I suggest you do. It is a great film.

You mean when Manni gets out of his bosses car?

I think thats what your talking about, but if not you need to explain it better.
