Facts within the Matrix(warning - may include spoilers)

I got bored and found alot of unknown facts hidden within the movies "The Matrix" and "Matrix-Reloaded" so here's a few if your interested:

-The letters N, E, and O are found in "Anderson" in this order:
aNdErsOn
The letters O, N and E are found in "Thomas Anderson" in this order:
thOmas aNdErson
So this name conceals/contains the ideas that Thomas Anderson is both Neo and the One.

-Morpheus-Name of the god of dreams in Ovid's Metamorphoses. In the movie, Morpheus refers to dreams and waking up several times. He asks Neo to imagine having a dream so real that he mistook it for the real world, and being unable to wake from that dream. The Matrix is the "dream" that most humans mistake for ultimate reality.

-Neo-Neo is a prefix meaning new -- in fact, in Greek it actually is the word for "new" and Neo is the newest member of Morpheus' group. Neo is also an anagram of "one," and Neo is thought to be "The One."

-The Blind Man as Tiresias. In the scene where Morpheus and Neo are going to see the Oracle, Morpheus nods to a blind man, who mysteriously nods back as if he can see him clearly.
One perspective is that the Blind Man may relate to Tiresias in Greek mythology. Tiresias was a seer (oracle etc.) who was blinded by the gods. In one version of the story, he was blinded for disclosing the secrets of the gods to mortals. Tiresias communicates with the gods during his dreams (see Morpheus), and after his own death meets Odysseus in Hades to help him find his way home.

-When the Oracle tells Neo he isn't The One, she says "maybe in your next life." Near the end of the movie, he does briefly die and then come back to life, so technically maybe he is in his "next life" at the very end.

-In the car after Neo is bugged, Switch calls Neo a "copper top", as in a Duracell battery.

-Neo's boss at the software company tells him, "You believe that you are special, that somehow the rules do not apply to you. Obviously you are mistaken." Actually, this foreshadows that he is the One and that the rules of the matrix will not apply to him, so it is his boss who is mistaken

-Visually, the water running down glass in a few scenes (the metacortex office windows, the rear windows of the car where Neo is "debugged) appears quite similar to the scrolling matrix code we see many times.

-Another mysterious foreshadowing is when the "hacker friend" comes to see Neo. When he comments on how Neo looks stressed and needs some "r and r" he says that Neo needs to "unplug" and this is exactly what he does! Neo is truly "unplugged" from the Matrix later in the pod scene.

-The central problem facing humanity in the movie is delusion. Most humans do not understand the illusory nature of the Matrix. Morpheus says:"The Matrix is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth."

-After Neo realizes the true nature of the Matrix and escapes into the real world, he returns to the Matrix to help liberate others, in the manner of a Bodhisattva.

Has anyone noticed the biblical ties within the Matrix? No? Let me explain:

-Neo- Neo is obviously the One with the power to free the human race. Right thats all sorted. But the real truth behind the matter is as follows. In the first Matrix, Morpheus tells of a 1st One who freed the first Humans. That one died. And now we have Neo. ...Figure it out yet? The first one must of had great powers but not much fighting skill leading to his Death. Jesus was known for what? his great healing abilities. Not believing me, hm? I shall carry on.

The Matrix- Agent Smith tells Morpheus that the original Matrix was perfect in every single way. Yet the Humans rejected the program. ...The Garden of Eden was perfect? Yet Adam and Eve rejected it by going against Gods rules.

Morpheus- Morpheus relates to John the Baptist, who prophecizes the coming of the One in his day.

Trinity- Trinity relates to the Holy Ghost in reviving Neo, as the Holy Ghost did with Jesus.

Ahh I can see I'm not getting through to you, I'll try something else.

An easy one.

The Nebekenezzer(SP)- Neb' was the name of Morpheus's ship in the Real. The original Neb was a King in the Bible. He lead a crusade and destroyed the holy city of Jerusalem(until it was rebuilt) and set everyone within free from fake teachings of God (The Matrix?) Think about it kiddies.

this is a reference to agent smith....Near the beginning of the film, Agent Smith drives up in an Audi with the license plate "IS 5416". This appears to be yet another Bible reference -- Isaiah Chapter 54, Verse 16 reads as follows: "Behold, I have created the SMITH that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy." (Capitals are for emphasis).
