Mohaa patch

Please help me,

I want to play Mohaa multiplayer and I've downloaded a patch for it (Uk&US onlypatch 1.11 --> I'm sure i need this one) but if I want to connect to a server, my console says: "Server is using patch 1.11, please download the latest version"
Does anyone know how I can fix this...

hehe, yeah, of course, and I also have a file (mohfit.reg or something) which some other people use with the patch

No, it's an illegal version, but my friend used the same cd's and he has no problems
