Okay, I'm going up to New York, around Long Island area and was looking for some stuff to do. Does anyone know of any WW2 Musems or anything of that nature? Preferabbly militaristic.

They have the carrier USS Intrepid, a US submarine, a Marine Corps exhibit anda shitload of aircraft.

correction on the USMC exhibit, I don't think the Intrepid museum has one, I confused it with one in Buffalo NY, but the Intrepid one does have a shitload of planes and other cool stuff.

It's Times Square, schmuck! oOo:

The best thing I can really think of is go down to West End Highway and the 20's street block, and goto the Intreped Museum. Its the aircraft carrier that was used in Gulf War, and I think WWII. Again, it's on West End Highway, and between 20th & 30th street on the piers.

Forget Long Island, come to Easton Pennsylvania (my hometown). We have the "National Canal Museum". oOo: Before in the 18th and 19th century, my city was the "modern New York City" of their time. We had the richest people live in Easton. Easton was the second place where the Declaration of Independence was read publically. We have alot of history...not like you'd wanna come to easton instead of New York oOo: biggrin:
