a novel idea -

why dont some of you model converters make a tutorial for the public here at aa.com to read. it will take time but it will keep people from making useless threads saying "can you make me this gun!" i want some dedicated person to consider it. call me blind but i havent seen a tutorial about weapon converting though. Only good things can come of this.
/me waits for asshole to say "someone can rip a model, thats not good!!1"
stfu^ . just an idea for people like dc splinter, deleto, or hobbs to consider. =/

That is a good idea, but model converting isn't the same as skinning. You need modeling progams, which can be very expensive. There are some free ones out there I think, but I don't know what progams you'd need for converting models.

Ill try to do something as soon as we are finished with city nights 2. tryin to rap it up but its a lot of work. plu this tutorial alone would take a week to do since there are 1,000 possible things you may hafta do to a model to get it to work. till i get something out try watching the lr3d forums. promethius gives lots of help there.
