vision requirements to get into army? -

I wear glasses and my precription is almost a "-8". That's pretty high. Can i still get into the reserves?

I don't know, I think it depends on what branch. Don't count on getting into the airforce with any prescription of glasses. But you might be okay for infantry. I would go check it out with a recruiter.

I don't know how Canada is, but here for enlisted personnel its pretty lax. Air Force is not out of the question. not everyone flies a plane in the AF (not to mention it's only for officers). anyways, enough of the flyboys biggrin: . I know in the US Army you can fly choppers with corrected vision of 20/20. I signed up for Army Airborne Infantry and have 20/30 vision. not to mention I can get Lasik surgery done for free.
