Mx500 mouse buttoms not working(HELP)

Default Mx500 mouse buttoms not working(HELP) - 08-01-2003, 04:33 AM

I cant get my extra buttoms to work in spearehead. If you know how to make it work tell me please.

Install the software that came with the mouse and then set the side buttons for backspace and page down. Go to MOH control options and make the second button for the fuction (lean ect) backspace or page down. I'm pretty sure this will work with a Logictec mouse

there is a new version of mouseware out and what the guy said above wokrs ... you can assign the buttons to key stroke. with earlier versions of mouseware the above doesnt work.

try using this along with the new drivers and youll get all the buttons working.

Have tryed the mouse ware that came whit the mouse didnt work.
Install the newest mouse ware and got 4 buttoms to work.
Im going to try install Advanced Settings Utility for MouseWare.

It works. THANKS for the tip.
All 8 buttoms are working and its so cool.
The game is more fun and the mouse is the best i tryed.

i actually found this answer over on the dslreports forums ... the part about the mouse util anyway ... i just happened to check the logitech page and noticed the new drivers with the keystroke thing eek: i bought a microsoft mouse about a week before i bought the mx5000 ... what a pos the microslut one is ... jesus. mx500 is much more solid ...
