suggestion number one. drop IL-2 and pick up IL-2 Forgotten Battles. It is twice the game that IL-2 is, even though IL-2 is still very good. FB is just an updated version, newer game, better graphics, and the new patch is coming out in the next week or so (cant wait)

suggestion two. you cant go wrong with a microsoft sidewinder 2 precision pro. costs around 40 to 50 dollars american. ive had all sorts of sticks, and this one is the most solid. also, a logitech wingman extreme digital 3d is decent, ive flown with that....for cheap but quality stick you can go with a saitek cyborg pro....although it aint the prettiest one out there it gets the job done.

also, if you have money too burn by all means go with a hotas rig...thats Hands On Throttle and Stick

saitek x45 is the most popular hotas because its not too expensive , and its a good product

the hotas cougar, however, is the best money can buy, this puppy can only be ordered, no store carries them. in fact, the military uses this stick to train its f 18 pilots heh. it costs like 250 dollars. its made by thrustmaster
http://us.thrustmaster.com/products/hot ... skin=Hotas
i had a thrustmaster topgun cheapie hotas, it was great, but the springs wore out fast. it was a really fun stick though.

hope this helps
J

I'd suggest the Microsoft SideWinder 2, like everyone else. - I have one, and although I don't use it much, it's fucking good.
