Default Equilibrium...Too under-rated? - 09-17-2003, 04:41 AM

This movie is awesome. It really gave that feeling of a Third Reich and Stalinism but in the future. Great film and action however it seemed to never able made it to the cinemas in many places. How come it didnt get the attention as films such as Matrix:Reloaded and other big films which is a bit disappointing since alot of people never watched it neither hear about it. The whole concept and plot was great in my opinion and the speeches made by "Father" was really good.

Although the movie had a communism-like goverment going on, the movie didn't make me reflect on any past history of rule or anything. I think the movie was rated correctly; a futuristic world that makes it look sci-fi, much like Bladerunner and Demolition Man was.

Fahrenheit 451 + 1984 + Brave New World = R0X0RZ

Also,

Equilibrium = Fahrenheit 451 + 1984 + Brave New World

Our theorem states that ...

If A = B /\ C = A, => C = B

We have therefore proven that Equilibrium R0X0RZ.

Yeah Boondock Saints was an awesome movie but again Boondock Saints in my opinion could had more attention, it was under-rated as well cause it never made it to many of the cinemas and not much knows about it. All this good films dont get much attention whilst those stupid hollywood marketing films get major attention. What a waste.... hake:
