well i was trying to edit some php code to modify my forum and somehow everything was shot to shit. luckily i backed up my db before i did this but when i went back to restore the data base it gives me a weird error message "no file was restored" or something like that. i have school tommorow so i need to stop working on my problem now. sorry about this, im very pissed annoy:

How are you trying to backup your db? If your using the myphpadmin panel, don't! Your provider has set a file limit and Mysql will timeout before you can upload the file. Also how where you backing up your db?

Use SSH to manually back up the db. If you need help, get putty.exe ( windows version of SSH ) and give me a time and I will assist you via, ICQ or one of the other types of IAM's

It really degrades this board when others come in from the outside and don't know where you stand with Simo. Hell I've had my differences with him but am willing to help him because I know how it feels to mess up your board. Believe me, I have done it a number of times and much worse.

Not picking on anyone just trying to build a better aa.com.
