[Help] need a question answered about photoshop 8/7/6 -

I have photoshop 8, and im trying to move an obect by pressing an arrow key on the keyboard to nudge the objects 1 pixel. but it wont let me
it wont move the object when i use the arrow keys.
nothing is locked and what not.
if your apart of some kind of photoshop messageboard could you try to find out how i can move an object using the arrow keys. i use to be able to do it in PS7 and PS6.

Shortcut key are gay in 8, stick with 7.

make sure you have the Move Tool selected, then nudge with the keyboard

hmm If I think I know what you mean
do this.. (if PS8 has the same thing) Click View at the top and make sure "snap" is UNCHECKED

PS 8 does the same thing with me. I tried to free-transform, and it doesnt do it. Perhaps we got our software from the same "source" sexy-man-in-glasses. Seems shourtcut keys arent responding. Very frustrating.
