Heh, if im not mistaken, that is one of the ravens used by loads of the once-was-soviet states/countrys.
Its also one of the most well known symbols of Poland.. I think..

it was on thier flag when they were communist. after ww2 my grandama knitted one 3x 4 feet big. very nice
