Well yesterday I get a phone call from the Marine recruiters asking me if I wanted to get picked up and takin to their office to discuss some things. They pick me up at around 12 and we start talking about stuff. We talked for about 15 mins about which is better, x-box or PS2 lol. Then when we get to the place the head marine asks me what I got on my SAT and asvab so i told him what i got on SAT and told him that i never got my asvab score. So he says that im a pretty smart guy and something about that ill probably be Alpha. I have no idea what being Alpha means so if anyone could tell me please do. So we continue to talk and he tells me something about PLC which is Platoon Leader Class which sounds like a really good idea for anyone who is considering both college and the marines. So this is what im considering now. You get to choose wether you want to do Ground, Air, or Law training. Im probably gonna do Air if i qualify. Any thoughts on the matter?
What did you score on the SAT?? If you scored high enough you can qualify for NROTC. They pay for both your college and give you a montly allowance which is like $400 or so.

Definitely. I know they just tell you the good stuff to get you in. Once your in thats it. Your in. But ive always wanted to do it. I know its gonna be tough especially with college but hopefully i can do it.

Bean 2, I was thinking about going to college and then the Marines but I said fuck that and just signed up. College can always come later and there is always a chance I might just make a career out of the Marines as enlisted. Veterans always told me they respect Officers who went enlisted first and then went Officer. So that's what I'm doing.
