Now I will admit hardly anyone in Tampa cares about hockey, and untill we started winning they couldnt even give the tickets away....and even now that they are winning we still can't sell out the st. pete time forum...that just shows how little interest there is in in hockey in my town, but we still beat the mapple leafs!!! I know all of the canadians here are big leaf fans and I'm just posting this to rub in the fact that my small southern city beat toronto's hockey team! hahahahaha rock: rock:

There was probably more leaf fans at the game than lightning fans, but anyway, it doens't matter because Canada didn't lose to the lightning, Toronto lost to the lightning. Canada has 5 other teams.
In addition to that, pretty much all the playlers who play for the lightning are Canadian, so your essentially watching Canadians play Canadians.
14 out of 24 players on the Lightning including Lecavalier and St. Louis who are your best players are Canadian and 3 are American. So I don't think we lost.

I missed this. if you think i'm a leaf fan, you've got another thing coming.
All canadians are not leaf fans.

Definitely not, ninty. I may not like the Flames, but I respect you for keeping the loyalty in Canada.
No secret here...

In the past when the Oilers make it t the playoffs and Calgary didn't I cheered for the Oil. Best series was always Edmonton Dallas. I loved watching those games.
But this year its our turn baby! When the Flames make the playoffs its going to be nuts in Calgary. GO FLAMES GO!
