Yellowcard is not Punk. -

Even before this disgrace of an album Oceans Avenue came out and they got "popular" unfortunatly...they weren't even all that punk.
The punk posers who listen to them infact listen to them to BE cool because people say they are punk when the band is what IDIOTS think is punk. They don't embody ANNYTHING that is the actually punk.
Now I must say I hate all punk, but to say Yellowcard is punk, is a disgrace to the entire genre.
Hardcore Punk is ok though...I kinda like Fugazi, but that's about it.
Yellowcard is not punk, they never were, they never will be. They're a pop band. They are doing music based on what is popular.

I can tell what the idiotic genre, which bands actually show some talent even if I think most of it sucks.
Let's have a Bad Religion chat next...how against the grain was their only decent album.
Then maybe how punk had the most sellouts of any genre which is mroe hypocritical to the shitty lyrics they choose to right.
You are probably one of those who thinks bands like MAiden, Metallica, MEgadeath, Slayer and so on are the highlights of 80 music and they only good thing that came out

Nope, not at all. I'm not that closed minded.
Well, Maiden yes...but they own everything I hear anyway. You want to talk about 80s punk, though? The Clash and The Ramones, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Husker Du, The Dead Kennedys, Iggy Pop...that's the shit right there.
Metal was huge in the 80s and yeah, the era produced some awesome acts...not just Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer. Ever hear D.R.I.? There's your hardcore shit. Listen up.
Blink 182, Good Charlotte et al aren't punk, but they're out there every night working their asses off. Like 'em or not, they have the record deals and we don't.

See that wasn't so hard
Dead Kennedys suck though...Iggy Pop = the man. Blink 182, Good Charlotte AND Yellowcard are not punk.

All your favourite artists are hypocritical genius's really. They knew how to fool a bunch of people into believing in their radical views when there entire point of having this career contradicted the entire point to these "lyrcis"
